This Edwardian Military Swagger Stick makes an elegant and desirable implement of impact play also doubling as a perfect etiquette stick. It is organic in shape and grown from a single stem of chestnut wood with the root ball forming the pommel of the handle. It has a delicately designed white metal (possibly silver) band that delineates the handle from the shaft of the crop. It has been designed by nature but do not let its rustic charm fool you; hidden in its delicate fauna form is a domineering item of domestic discipline
The swagger stick dates from the Edwardian period (1901 – 1910), it measures 68cm in length and the naturally formed root ball handle is a joy to hold fitting to the hand with sensual touch. As with all vintage natural woods this cane exhibits a beautiful dark and sensuous patina. This item is in its perfect original condition.
