Antique Swaine Holly Swagger Crop- Rare
This desirable Edwardian Implement of impact play; made by renowned whip makers to Edward VIII Swaine & Adeney, is unusual and singular in that it is made from the wood of the holly tree. Its handle is capped with a sterling silver pommel. The assay make can be seen but not distinguishable due to wear to the handle from the years of administering discipline. The raised nodules of holly wood give and interesting dynamic the swagger stick that cannot fail to leave its mark on any reluctant flesh it comes into contact with.
The silver pommel of the swagger stick is engraved with the words” 4th May 1903. Also on its shaft are engraved the makers details. It measures 60cm in total length length.
Due to its surface texture being formed by nature of the holly tree and the particular engraved date on the pommel this really is a unique item and the buyer will own an exclusive instrument of control and submission that can only add to any role-play scenario.
