WW1 Swagger Stick
This is a handsome military Royal Leicestershire Regiment swagger / etiquette stick that dates from 1917; it’s an item of instruction rather than punishment. When the dominant participant has this in their hand the submissive has no option other than to comply to any command given.
Measuring 67cm in length with a beautifully Malacca shaft this cane is topped with silver metal pommel and tailed with likewise silver metal ferrule. The Malacca shaft has a beautiful patina and the pommel exhibits the repousséd regimental coat of arms.
This item commands obedience and would make a splendid addition to any arsenal of implements of domestic discipline.
This item is in excellent condition for its age, the pommel does exhibit some aged wear.
