Isabella Corset

Isabella is crafted in a luminous ivory pearl silk duchess satin, with a high-gloss finish, paired with ivory powernet, delicate lace frilled skirt and finished with wide, ruched silk suspenders. The silhouette is built around a cinched 1950s-inspired corset form, with a deep curved plunge bust and fluid, sculpted shaping through the body.

Isabella was developed in response to commissions from burlesque artists who desired an  adaptation of our Eloise corselette- one that retained its sculptural impact but allowed for easier, faster removal and greater freedom of movement. By shortening the rigid corset body while extending the lace, the design preserves the visual language of Eloise while improving functionality for performance and easier removal.

Balancing structure and softness: the waist remains firmly sculpted within traditional steel boning and coutil foundations, while the lower lace introduces movement and lightness. The result is a piece that feels both disciplined and fluid.
