Swaine & Co Crop

Made when George the V was on the throne, this crop is a fine example of the whip makers’ art made by Swaine & Co. renowned whips makers to the Royal family since the reign of Queen Victoria.

This crop features a lacquered Malacca shaft, a long leather stinging tongue and has a bond antler handle. The handle has a small brass plaque inserted into it that is engraved with the maker’s name.

The Malacca shaft is delineated from the handle by a hallmarked sterling silver ferrule.  The silver assay mark on the ferrule confirms that the Crop was made in London in 1911.  Engraved into the sterling silver ferrule are the initial “F.W.S”  

The Crop is 90cm from handle to the tip of the leather tongue. The tongue of this crop is exceptionally long measuring 22cm in length giving it an extra bite in its implementation.

This Crop is firm and ridged in the hand and has the ability to be used with sensitivity or menacing intimidation depending of the desires of the director in command of the role-play.

The feel, persona and demure of this crop makes it an ideal addition to any dominant BDSM practitioner’s collection of implements of discipline.
